Safeguarding is at the centre of everything we do at our club. Unless all of our members feel safe, secure and in an environment that they can enjoy their football and time with their friends, then we aren't doing our jobs correctly. The information provided here is for everyone to read, have constant access to and reference whenever is necessary. If you need to contact any of our safeguarding team, you can email them by clicking the button below.

Safeguarding Children Policy
Tarvin Athletic Football Club
acknowledges its responsibility to safeguard the welfare of every child and young person and is committed to providing a safe environment for all. We recognise that a child is anyone under the age of 18 and subscribe to The Football Association’s (The FA) Safeguarding Children Policy and Procedures.
Tarvin Athletic Football Club endorses and adopts the following key safeguarding principles:
Incident Reporting Process
Let's make football safe, not sorry. Guide to reporting concerns about child welfare. Just as in a legal case, there are various risk management actions which can be taken by The FA to safeguard children. These include education, mentoring, supervision and, where appropriate, a suspensions.
All resulting outcomes are
reported and feedback to
those involved in the incident
report.
FA Whistle Blowing Policy
If you are worried about a child, it’s vital you report your concerns. Doing nothing is not an option.
It’s also important you stay calm, and if any child is present, reassure them they are not to blame. But don’t make promises of confidentiality or outcome. This document details the five ways to report a concern.
Grassroots Discipline Complaints Process
This document outlines The FA’s (“The FA”) commitment to dealing
with disciplinary complaints that fall within the remit of the Grassroots
Division. It also
provides information as to how the complaints process
is managed, responded to and how we will reflect upon complaints when
periodically reviewing our disciplinary processes.
