Investing in our pitches in 2025

Continuing our exceptional efforts to improve our pitches that we started in 2024 our grounds team have been busy working alongside Cheshire West & Chester Council and Ashton Hayes Sports & Recreation Association to ensure that our Dog Lane and Ashton Hayes pitches received the same level of refurbishment this summer.

The contractors team of tractors and equipment were out in force at both sites in August and within a matter of months the transformation was clear for all to see. No more weeds, substantially improved surface drainage and topped off with overseeding and feeding, these pitches should be best placed to deal with whatever the increasingly damp British winters can throw at them.
